Q: What are the hire rates for the hall?

Q: Does the hall have wheelchair access?

A: Yes, the hall is step-free and all on one level.

​

Q: Does the hall have cutlery and crockery available for me to use?

A: Yes, there are place settings for up to 100 people. Any breakages are charged at £2 per item.

​

Q: Does the hall have glasses available for me to use?

A: The hall has champagne glasses that can be used free of charge. However, breakages are charged at £1 per item.

​

​

Q: Is there parking available?

A: Yes, the car park can accommodate up to 15 cars. This includes a space reserved for disabled drivers.

​

Q: What is the maximum capacity for the main hall?

A: 100 people.

​

​

Q: What is the latest time we can leave the hall?

A: On Fridays and Saturdays, the hall must be vacated by 12pm and the music stopped by 11pm. On weeknights, the hall must be vacated by 11.30pm and the music stopped by 10.30pm.

Q: Does the hall allow bouncy castles?

A: No.

​

Q: I would like to have a bar for my event. Is the hall licensed?

A: No, the hall itself is not licensed. If you are holding a private function, drinks can be served not sold. If it is an organised ticketed event, you will need to apply for a temporary event notice from Tonbridge and Malling Borough Council. Click here for further information and to apply for a TEN.

Q: We would like to use the stage. Is there a charge?

A: Use of the stage is free for residents but for non-residents, a donation would be appreciated.

Q: We would like more subdued lighting for our event. Is this possible?

A: Yes, the uplighters on the sides of the hall produce a more ambient effect.

Q: Is there Wi-Fi access?

A: No.
